27th May 2007
Windsurfing: Rutland Water SC
Wind Direction: N - straight from the dam
Wind Stength: F3-6
Surf / Sea State: Flat then 3ft chop
Air Temperature: Cold
Sea Temperature: Warm
Weather: Raining all day!!
Max Speed:
Distance Covered: Lots!

Got to the Sailing Club at around 11 to see my Dad going out 7.8 nicely powered up so rigged 9.4 to go with iSonic. First run out and a big squall came through = very exciting. Came in to see if it would last and ended up going out to rescue mate who was stranded on 8.5.

When I eventually got back in the wind had definitely filled in so I got out the 7.0 and freestlye board. Went out on that for about 2.5 hrs trying to improve chop hopping up near the fishing lodge/church.

Wind then increased in strength again so at 4ish I rigged the 5.8. All dinghies had come off the water and so I had the south arm of the lake to myself!! Managed another 1.5 hrs of jump practice towards the lodge and speed runs back down the lake.

Turned out to be an excellent day - shame there was no sun.
